What is UPI pin?

What is UPI pin? UNIFIED PAYMENTS INTERFACE (UPI) UPI PIN stands for Unified Payment Interface Personal Identification Number. It is a 4 or 6 digit secret code that is used as a password to authenticate UPI transactions. UPI is a payment system in India that allows users to transfer funds between bank accounts instantly using a mobile app. When you set up a UPI account, you are required to create a UPI PIN that is linked to your bank account. Whenever you initiate a transaction using UPI, you will be asked to enter your UPI PIN to authorize the transaction. This ensures that only the account holder can authorize transactions and provides an additional layer of security to the UPI system. It is important to keep your UPI PIN secure and not share it with anyone. Unified Payment Interface (UPI) developed by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) which was established by reserve bank of India (RBI).
